Here are the guys at Reefari charters teaching you how to use soft plastics to catch awesome fish like Trevally and Fingermark.
The video starts with the boys using the sounder to find a good spot to drop the soft plastic. They find a good gathering of fish and then the video leads into the best technique for catching fish.
This is from tying it to your line to the best technique to retrieving the lure back to the boat. While filming they actually catch a nice size Trevally in 40 metres of water.
The lure is a Gulp Nemesis which is a six and a half inch plastic with two ounce nitro head. The plastic is bio-degradable and Lee talks you through how to correctly rig the plastic lure.
One really good tip Lee shares is if the plastic is not straight on the hook it will swim in circles losing its effectiveness to catch fish. You will also hear an explanation as to why these predatory fish prefer the plastics over traditional baits.
Young Sam shows up Lee with nice Trevally but Lee gives a great explanation of how to use this plastic.
